Sweet 33 - Mac Help

Here's a detailed, step-by-step process for getting Sweet 33 running on your Mac!

  1. Download the game here

  2. Unzip the file and then run the "Sweet 33 Mac" application

  3. The game needs the Mono framework to run. If it's not already installed on your Mac, here are the steps to install it. It's pretty simple, but just to be extra-clear here's every step to take:

    • If you don't have the Mono framework installed, the game will direct you to a page where you can download it. (If it doesn't, you can get it from this site.)

    • Since you're on a Mac, click the "Mac OS X" link. After this, some text will pop up down below. This text sounds like crazy computer talk, but just click the link that says "Runtime".

    • Your browser will ask if you want to save the file or open it. Open it with the DiskImageMounter option, which is probably the default option for opening it. After it downloads, you should see a folder with two files in it, one that's called something complicated like "Mono-Framework-MRE-(some crazy numbers).pkg". Double-click this file or right click it and choose "Open".

    • The installer should start and welcome you. Just click "continue" and let the installer do its stuff. Once it's finished, it should tell you the Mono framework was successfully installed. Now run the Sweet 33 game again and the game should work!

  4. Enjoy Sweet 33 on your Mac! Try to get all the endings and find all the secrets!

Known Issues:

  • On rare occasions the music will "overlap" with other music for a while

  • On rare occasions music or sound effects won't play when they should
